Dignity With Care was founded by registered nurse Brittinni Stroud, with nearly two decades of nursing experience. Our mission is to provide a premium home nursing and caregiving service while making the service affordable to the people of Maryland. We offer private-duty rates that are as much as 40% lower than other agencies in Maryland. We also work with Maryland Medicaid to make home care more accessible for everyone who needs quality service at home.
Each of our aides are formally trained in caregiving for retirees and adults with disabilities. This includes specific training in safe mobility assistance, skin care, infection control, nutrition, dementia, health monitoring, fall prevention, and many other aspects of service that can be important for our clients. What’s more, our aides are continuously trained. Every year they receive continuing education. They are nurse supervised, CPR certified, and first aid certified. They have each passed criminal background checks, thorough reference checks, license verification (where applicable), infectious disease screening, and other screening measures.
At Dignity With Care, you have more than an aide; you have an entire caregiving team on your side. A nurse will routinely help supervise the aide(s) assigned to your home. When your usual aide is out, we will automatically provide backup service. Even our clients who use Medicaid consumer-directed services - choosing a family member as their caregiver - have our professional aides as backup. When a client’s health needs more skilled attention, a nurse can step in.
